Terms of Service

Last updated October 12, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and TechDigit LLC (“YourTemple”, “we”, “us”) for the YourTemple apps, yourtemple.app and the trustee portal (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use YourTemple. If you use it on behalf of a temple or other organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for it.

1. Your account

One YourTemple account works with every temple you follow. Give accurate information, keep your sign-in secure, and tell us at support@techdigit.com if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for everything done through it.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break any law, or help anyone else do so;
  • harass, threaten, impersonate or deceive anyone, or post hateful, obscene or misleading content;
  • try to identify, contact or profile devotees through the Service beyond what it is designed to show;
  • access, probe or scan the Service without permission, get around its security or limits, or use it through automated means we have not approved;
  • copy, resell, reverse-engineer or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure;
  • upload anything that infringes someone else's rights or contains malware.

3. Our right to suspend or end access

We may suspend, restrict or permanently terminate any account, any temple, or anyone's access to all or part of the Service, at any time and at our sole discretion, for any reason or for no reason, with or without notice. We are not required to explain or justify that decision, and we may refuse any future account from the same person or temple.

Without limiting that right, we act on breaches of these terms, risks to devotees, temples or the Service, legal requirements, and conduct we consider harmful to the YourTemple community, whether or not it is described here.

When access ends, the right to use the Service ends with it. We may delete the related data as our Privacy Policy describes. If we end a temple's paid plan for any reason other than a breach of these terms, we will refund the unused part of any period it has already paid for. Sections 7 to 11 continue to apply after access ends.

4. Temples and trustees

Trustees run their temple's presence on YourTemple and are responsible for its content: events, timings, announcements, images and links, whether entered by hand or filled in from the temple's website. Only list a temple you are authorised to represent.

To protect devotees' privacy, trustees see totals only (how many devotees follow the temple, how many are using the app now, today and yesterday) and, on seva shifts, a volunteer's first name and last initial. Trustees must not try to find out more about who uses the app.

5. Seva sign-ups and donations

Signing up for a seva is a commitment to volunteer. Schedules are set by the temple and may change.

Donations are made on each temple's own payment page. YourTemple only links to it and is not a party to the donation.

6. Plans for temples

Devotees never pay to use YourTemple. Temples get a 14-day free trial, which starts when a card is added; the card is first charged when the trial ends unless the plan is cancelled before then. Plans renew monthly or yearly until cancelled. Cancel anytime from the portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid. Fees are non-refundable except as section 3 or the law requires. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

If a payment fails, or a trial or plan ends without payment, the temple keeps working for 7 days while we retry and email its trustees. After that the temple shows as Unavailable to devotees until a plan is active again. Nothing is deleted in that time.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store card numbers.

7. Content and licences

Temples keep ownership of their content and give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, copy, adapt and display it to run, show and improve the Service. The YourTemple apps, website, design and software belong to us; we give you a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use them under these terms.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that temple content (including timings) is accurate or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Please confirm important details with your temple.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, YourTemple and TechDigit LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100.

10. Indemnity

Temples and trustees will defend and indemnify YourTemple against claims arising from their content or their breach of these terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law of where you live that cannot be waived.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. If a change is material we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect; continuing to use the Service after that means you accept it. Questions? Email support@techdigit.com.
